Justyna Skóra — Midwife who knows what works.

I’m a midwife and Certified Lactation Consultant with over 10 years of experience.

I worked in a hospital with a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), caring for both full-term and premature newborns.

Now, for the past 5 years, I’ve been supporting mothers through private consultations, helping them discover their strength and confidence during challenging moments of motherhood.

I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of women during this time. This experience has taught me that there aren’t universal solutions — every mother and every child is a unique story.

In my work, I focus on creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can ask questions and find answers that work for you. I believe every mother already has the intuition and strength she needs — sometimes it just takes the right support to discover it.

I’m here to help you embrace motherhood with confidence.

Home visit

The consultation is time dedicated entirely to you and your baby. We’ll discuss your concerns, set goals, and plan next steps. A typical visit includes:

  • Review of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period up to our meeting.
  • Analysis of your needs and challenges.
  • Mother’s examination (including breast palpation examination).
  • Baby’s examination (general condition, weight, frenulum, sucking).
  • Weight gain monitoring.
  • Breastfeeding instruction and finding comfortable positions.
  • Latch technique correction.
  • Problem identification and solution proposals.
  • Personalized recommendations tailored to your lifestyle.
  • Follow-up contact after 4-5 days.

NOTE: I provide home consultations only within Warsaw area.

Online call

Online consultation works best as focused support for specific breastfeeding or baby care problems. Based on your questions, we’ll prepare an action plan:

  • Analysis of specific problem from your question list.
  • Review of breastfeeding or pumping videos (if needed).
  • Technique and positioning instruction via camera.
  • Personalized recommendations and action plan.

NOTE: 48 hours before the consultation, send me a list of questions or problem description. Based on this, I’ll decide if videos of breastfeeding, pumping, etc. will be needed.

”I highly recommend Justyna, who amazingly helped us with breastfeeding and saved my declining lactation. Very professional in what she does, and also super nice and approachable. Justyna stayed in touch and gladly answered my pile of questions and calls.”

Highly recommend Justyna as a breastfeeding consultant! She has visited me at home and guided me in everything related to breastfeeding which helped me a lot. After the consultation she kept following up to check whether everything is progressing in the right direction (…)

From doubts to confidence

Questions that every mom asks

Q. When is the best time to schedule a consultation?

It’s best to schedule a consultation when first difficulties or concerns about feeding or baby care arise. You don’t need to wait until problems get worse – early support often helps avoid later complications and prevents issues from escalating. Often, mothers know intuitively that something „isn’t right” – that’s the perfect time to talk.

Remember, every story is different and deserves an individual approach, whether this is your first baby or another one.

Q. Is online consultation as effective as a home visit?

Online consultation works great for specific problems with feeding technique, positioning, or lactation planning. It’s an excellent option when you have concrete questions and need quick, practical solutions.

A home visit is better when baby examinations are needed, help with the first latch, or a comprehensive assessment of the situation.

In both cases, you’ll receive personalized recommendations tailored to your situation and follow-up contact after a few days.

Q. How should I prepare for a consultation?

Prepare a list of your questions, concerns, and problems that are bothering you – we often forget what we wanted to ask when stressed. If it’s an online consultation, send me your questions 48 hours in advance so I can prepare appropriately.

Remember, the consultation is time dedicated entirely to you and your baby. You don’t need any special preparations – just be yourself. I create a safe space where you can speak honestly about your doubts and challenges without fear of judgment.

Q. What if my baby doesn’t want to eat during the consultation?

That’s completely normal and very common! Babies have their own rhythm and sometimes don’t cooperate during visits – that doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong. We’ll always find a way to assess the situation, and I’ll show you the right techniques during calm moments. I have experience with hundreds of different baby temperaments and know how to adapt.

Q. Will you help me if I want to stop breastfeeding?

Absolutely. My role is to support you in your decisions, regardless of what they are. There are no „good” or „bad” mothers – there are only women doing everything they can for their children. I’ll help you safely and comfortably end breastfeeding, we’ll take care of your physical and mental health as well as your baby’s comfort during this transition. Every path in motherhood deserves support and understanding.
